Our journey began in 1996 with a simple yet heartfelt vision—to provide wholesome, home-cooked meals to those who craved the comfort of authentic flavors. What started as a small tiffin service in Santacruz, offering meals at just ₹25, quickly gained recognition for its delicious and homely taste.
In the early days, our founder & my mother, Pramila ji, operated from a joint family home, personally delivering meals to corporate offices, banks, and professionals across the city Me, Manoj & Akshay were still babies then was grasping all the entrepreneurial hustle Our Mother was going through. A defining moment came when legendary actor Dev Anand tasted one of our meals. Impressed by the quality and flavor, he invited us to cater for his office. This opened doors to serving film production teams and well-known personalities, marking the beginning of an incredible journey.
We have catered to a lot of well know personalities in the Indian film Industry, from Amitabh Bacchan to Shahrukh khan, also big production houses like Viacom 18 , Endemol shine, shows like Ring Ka King & many seasons of Big Boss for the Production crew, the list is quite long.
As our passion for food continued to grow so did we, after relocating to Mira Road, a community with a strong preference for vegetarian cuisine. Embracing this, we launched Nidhi Catering Company, offering a diverse range of menus tailored to different tastes and occasions.
A venture which started as my mother’s entrepreneurial journey as become a family Business today. I Nidhi mehra am the CEO OF Nidhi Catering Company, I make sure my team and our services function efficiently with happiness & Quality being the number one priority, Manoj Mehra my elder brother is in client service management as client service in food catering goes beyond just serving food it involves understanding client’s needs, being responsive & providing a personalized experience. Akshay Mehra my 2nd elder brother is the Operations Head as he Himself is from the hospitality industry his understanding of food, locations, menu curation across multiple events simultaneously. As a good catering food service ensures seamless communication to the event’s conclusion
